ABOUT JORDAN VON NETZER
PRESIDENT, PROJECTION PR
With over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Jordan von Netzer has been able to achieve a 360-degree view of the business. Fascinated from a young age with Hollywood, he knew he had to relocate to Los Angeles if he wanted to pursue his dream. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Film and Video Studies in 2007, he made his move.
Landing in L.A., Jordan quickly began his career on the film adaptation of Terrance McNally’s play Master Class, as actress/director Faye Dunaway’s executive assistant. That led to working behind the scenes in actual production on shows such as AMC’s Mad Men, ABC’s Desperate Housewives, NBC’s My Own Worst Enemy and HBO’s True Blood.
He next went to work with MTV on several projects, including talent wrangling for the legendary Michael Jackson This Is It world premiere live red carpet telecast in Downtown Los Angeles, as well as other events including the Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week screenings. Additionally, he worked one of the first livestream events for Facebook/MTV with stars Sam Worthington and Zoë Saldana of James Cameron’s Avatar, as well as red carpet arrival interviews for the GRAMMY Awards.
Since 2010, Jordan has been involved in a wide variety of aspects in the industry including doing public relations, creating marketing strategies, planning premieres, launching Calvin Klein’s fragrance Euphoria at the Cannes Film Festival, handling Sundance gifting lounges, as well as working on various film, Emmy and Oscar campaigns. He even had a small role in front of the camera in Disney's Hocus Pocus 2. His well-rounded view of entertainment coupled with his fresh approach, determination, and innovative thinking enable him to achieve incredible results for his clients.
Married, Jordan enjoys gardening at his home in the Hollywood Hills, and hanging out with his dog, Gus. He is an active supporter of Project Angel Food, The Trevor Project and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
